Warm Fellowship in Nakuru, Kenya

We arrived safely this afternoon at the home of Pastor Isaac and Margaret in Nakuru, Kenya where warm fellowship and a warm meal was awaiting us. Isaac, who studied for seven years in America, shared his conversion story with us. The Kenyan people are very warm. Life is all about relationships, not the tyranny of time. They think in terms of events rather than time!

Tomorrow I am looking forward to preaching in two churches in Nakuru and Mary hopes to give an address to the women at the second church after the worship service there. Pray for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

Arrival in Nairobi, Kenya

The Rift Valley

The Queen and I arrived in Nairobi, Kenya last night after a 24-hour journey from Grand-Rapids-Detroit-Amsterdam-Nairobi for a week’s worth of ministry in Nakuru, Kenya to be followed by ten days of ministry in Cairo and Alexandria, Egypt, D.V. Your prayers are coveted.

Me and Pastor Conrad Mbewe from Zambia

Today our able driver George drove us in a Toyota Land Rover together with Pastor Conrad Mbewe from Zambia (the other speaker at our upcoming conference) and Schel and Shawn Paulk from Georgia up the beautiful Rift Valley from Nairobi to Nakuru—normally a 3.5 hour trek but 4 hours for us due to a flat tire along the way.

At times, the road was smooth but often it was full of potholes. Along the way, we saw zebras, giraffes, impalas, baboons, and eland—sometimes right along the road (Interestingly, no hunting is allowed anywhere in Kenya at any time).
